Felt

Felt generates a feeling of warmth and gives the interior a friendly and cosy feel. It is very malleable, which is why we use it to make storage bags for various items, menu cards, hotel folders and whatever else you need for your premises.

How to care for Felt?

On a daily basis, the felt product should be cleaned regularly with a soft brush or dry cloth. If you anticipate that the felt may come into contact with water, you can protect it with preparations for suede. These will not make it fully waterproof, but will make it more resistant to any side effects, including discolouration. If any stains appear, they should be removed as soon as possible so that these do not become an integral part of the fibre.

How to clean Felt?

Important information

The rules described do not apply to applied logos, which are much more susceptible to dissolving and washing off, in the case of decorations such as hot stamping with coloured foil or printing. Such areas should not be cleaned, but only wiped very gently with a cotton cloth and clean water.

Felt info

Wet cleaning is a kind of last resort and for these purposes water and mild detergents, such as soap, can be used. To deal with more serious soiling, you can look around for detergents designed for cleaning wool. Definitely avoid using water above 40 degrees and do not rub, twist or wring the fabric extensively. To dry, leave to dry completely lying down (even 24 hours). If it is necessary to use an iron then on the lowest possible temperature.

. With use the felt tends to fray resulting in small balls which can be removed with a clothes roller or special machine.
